Beavis and Butt-Head need TikTok and YouTube videos for their bung

Beavis and Butt-Head return to the small screen. As part of a Paramount Plus revival, the titular characters are here to poke fun at modern content creators on TikTok and YouTube.

Following the release of Beavis and Butt-Head make the universeParamount ordered Beavis and Butt-Head by Mike Judge, a serial revival of the two dumb teenage slackers who became icons in the 90s. Created and voiced by Mike Judge, Beavis and Butthead originally ran for seven seasons. In 2011, Beavis and Butthead returned for another season before being canceled again.

While making farting jokes and laughing at other people’s misfortune, the duo regularly reacted to MTV clips. Converting to the modern age, Beavis and Butt-Head will now react to TikTok videos and YouTube clips.

Paramount has released an eight-minute preview of the new series. In it, Beavis and Butt-Head react to a TikTok in which someone reaches out to the public about how to make tattoo ink in prison. The two mock the creator’s accent, calling it a “jail accent” and stating that he sounds like someone who should be in jail.

Of course, Beavis and Butt-Head need two things and two things only: TPs and music videos. The latter is most certainly integrated into the show. There are reports that an exclusive San Diego Comic-Con clip from Beavis and Butt-Head by Mike Judge shows the two reacting to a BTS music video. In it, Beavis tries to hide the fact that he likes Butt-Head’s song.

If you can’t wait to see The Great Cornholio return, you don’t have to wait long. Beavis and Butt-Head by Mike Judge debuts August 4 on Paramount Plus. The streaming service is available in Canada for $5.99 per month.
